Charlene, there would really be no shame if you just resigned. You are already retired, so you would still have a revenue source. You could then just sit back, and see how well the department would run without you. You could go home to allendale, and hang out with your family. And you wouldnt have to be concenred about the rising tide of alumni hatred directed towards you. There are already protest being planned for the alumni convention, demanding that you go, and former players like Nygel Pearson are already saying that they will not give money to the athletics department as long as you are in charge. You have been in the department in some capacity for over 20 years. Why not just let it go? Do your alma mater, and yourself, proud.
