Nygel Pearson is recently graduated SCSU football player. A great athlete, who knows first hand what the support of SCSU alumni does for athletes. He sees our athletics program from a perspective that we dont. Here is what he said last night on his twitter, which can be found at

A SCSU athletics administrator just had the nerve to ask to make sure I give back to athletics, until there is a new AD u won't get a dime.
Now this is a kid that just graduated. He sees the AD and her antics up close. And he is pissed. And you wonder why its hard for SCSU athletics to raise money? Our own athletes are getting turned off by our AD!!!
President Cooper. Is out entire athletics department worth keeping the one person (Charlene)? A change must be made!
